Camilla is a communications and stakeholder engagement specialist with 6 years working expertise in international sustainable development (sustainable agriculture & natural resource management, ecotourism, sustainable livelihoods) and technological innovation.
Camilla has a BA in Spanish and French and an MA in Latin American Development, focusing on sustainability, social policy and human rights. Over the past 6 years she been responsible for communicating the impact of the most developed sustainable development NGO in Mexico on sustainable livelihoods in the Sierra Gorda Biosphere Reserve, such as ecosystem services and eco-tourism businesses, as well as the funding and collaboration opportunities to innovative UK businesses via the government agency, Innovate UK.
She would now like to support businesses to consider how responsible and sustainable their business models and purposes are, and look at the opportunities for improvement through the B Corp Impact Assessment process.
As a B Leader, she is interested in supporting businesses to go through the assessment, analysing their strengths and weaknesses, engaging internal and external stakeholders and providing business improvement consultancy. Camilla is particularly interested in working with businesses in the South West. She is currently helping a local organic brewery start the process.
